Veterans All-Hands Meeting To Discuss Fort Ord Cemetery To Be Held At Monterey Peninsula College

EVENT: To learn more about plans for the future State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Ord and topical information regarding veterans benefits and services. The California Department of Veterans Affairs is sponsoring an all-hands meeting for veterans, their families and friends.

BACKGROUND: This is the first of several Veterans All-Hands Meetings taking place throughout California this year. These meetings are designed to provide a forum for current information regarding benefits and services available to veterans. Important information will also be provided to veterans returning from the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
