In support of National Veteran Small Business Week, the Veteran Business Outreach Center, State of California, and Fresno SBA Office are providing a FREE workshop for Veteran entrepreneurs to learn about the State of California's Disabled Veteran Enterprise (DVBE), and Small Business (SB) Certification.
Each year, California buys nearly $10 billion of goods and services ranging from pencils to temporary labor for state institutions, community colleges, and other organizations. California has participation goals for small business (25% of State spending) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (3% of State spending). And for the last three fiscal years, the State has met or exceeded these.
This FREE training workshop will teach Veteran entrepreneurs the step by step process to become certified as a small business or DVBE. Meet experts from the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), Veteran Business Outreach Center (VBOC), and Small Business Administration (SBA) who can assist you for free!
Learn how to obtain these certifications, market to contracting officers, and grow your Small Business or DVBE with government contracting! This workshop will include a question and answer period and time to talk with the experts. Space is limited to the first eighty.
