CalVet Secretary’s Conference to be Held October 21st
EVENT: The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) will be holding its bi-annual CalVet Secretary’s Conference in Sacramento to bring together representatives from organizations serving California’s veterans. Among the topics to be presented will be information regarding the Governor’s Interagency Council on Veterans, as well as issues experienced by many of the 30,000 men and women returning to California from active duty every year.
“I look forward to meeting with veterans service organization Commanders and other people dedicated to serving the veterans of our Golden State,” said Peter J. Gravett, CalVet Secretary. “This conference presents a great opportunity to bring together leaders in our veteran community to communicate and discuss veterans issues with our CalVet management team.”
