Governor Brown Appoints Lennon as CalVet Deputy Secretary for Administration
SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. has announced the appointment of Mark Lennon as Deputy Secretary for Administration in the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet).
“I welcome Mark to the CalVet family,” said Peter J. Gravett, CalVet Secretary. “Mark’s extensive knowledge and experience make him uniquely qualified to lead this department’s administrative division.”
Lennon is a lieutenant commander of the United States Navy and has been a naval reservist since 1997. He was a senior intelligence officer and deployed in Iraq with a Navy SEAL Team from 2010 to 2011.
Lennon was a consultant at WP Lennon Corporation from 2009 to 2010, managing director at Blackstone Technology Group from 2006 to 2009, senior manager at Delegata from 2005 to 2006, and senior manager at Deloitte Consulting Services from 2001 to 2005.
