House Veterans Affairs Committee holds hearing on VA FY2016 proposed budget request
VVA Legislative Update - February 11, 2015
Today, the Honorable Robert A. McDonald, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and his staff testified before the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Chaired by Chairman Miller-FL, Ranking Member Congresswoman Brown-FL and members of the House Veteran Affairs Committee on the VA proposed budget request for FY2016.
Also testifying before the House Veterans Affairs Committee presenting their views on the VA proposed budget request for FY2016 were Paralyzed Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and AMVETS these groups are all co-authors of the Independent Budget: Veterans Agenda for the 114th Congress http://www.independentbudget.org/
