PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS REQUEST YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA VETERANS CEMETERY IN IGO, CALIFORNIA, FOR A MEMORIAL SERVICE TO HONOR FORGOTTEN VETERANS
 
EVENT:      The California Department of Veterans Affairs, the Patriot Guard Riders, and others will hold a Memorial Service for the cremains of some forgotten veterans.  This ceremony is part of the “Missing in America Project.”

BACKGROUND:      The Northern California Veterans Cemetery is intended to be a dignified final resting place for California’s veterans of the armed services, their spouse and eligible dependents.  It has been designed to provide a place of meditation and quiet contemplation for veterans, their families and friends.
 
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of motorcycle riders from across the nation with an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security.  Their main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family.  Besides demonstrating sincere respect for the fallen heroes and their families and communities, they also shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors by legal non-violent means.
