Founded in 1914, Rose Hills has since grown to be the largest memorial park in the world. It is a full-service memorial facility with a modern mortuary, flower shop, reception center, and premiere cemetery property to serve the community in both pre-need and at-need situations. It serves 10,000 families a year. Rose Hills is located in Whittier, California, with approximately 1,400 acres of property for current use or future development and is considered to be the largest single-operated cemetery in the world. Although it is purposely secluded, Rose Hills is only minutes away from any point in the Greater Los Angeles or Orange County area, and offers a full range of funeral services to meet the memorialization needs of Southern California families. Rose Hills WHVVD Veterans Resource Fair and Military Funeral Service information ...

Good day,

As we near the date of our Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Resource Fair and Homeless Veterans Burial Service events, I’d like to ask once again to please forward this email to all you know as we’d like to reach as many people and especially Veterans as possible. I’ve also attached a flier you can email or print and pass out to family, friends, neighbors, and businesses. We will not be conducting any more community meetings--thank you for your support and attendance.

The events will take place on Sunday, March 23 at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier (3888 Workman Mill Road). The Veterans Resource Fair begins at 9:45 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. and will provide information, support, and services to veterans in a single, convenient location. Organizations and non-profits will provide services including individual and family counseling, education and training, employment assistance, financial matters, government programs, healthcare, legal and business matters, and housing, among others.

The Homeless Veterans Burial Service and Concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. up the hill from the Veterans Resource Fair at SkyRose Chapel. We invite everyone to attend. Both events are free and open to the public.

Together, we can honor our fellow Americans whose contributions to this great nation can never be repaid. With your support, the Rose Hills Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Resource Fair and Homeless Veterans Burial Service and Concert are sure to be an unforgettable tribute.

For those of you who would like to volunteer during the Veterans Resource Fair, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
Phyllis Grabot
