VA FY2017 Mil-Con-VA funding put on hold, Senate votes 52-48 and blocks conference report for H.R. 2577.

H.R. 2577 - Conference report was blocked in the United States Senate yesterday from advancing by a 52-48 vote, sixty procedural votes was needed to proceed to conference on the bill. H.R. 2577 a bill making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2016, provides $81.6 billion Military Construction-VA appropriations bill for fiscal 2017.


The Senate expects to take up the conference report for H.R. 2577 after the July 4 break.
