The California Vietnam Veterans Memorial Celebrates 20 Years
Events scheduled from December 10 - 14 include parade and memorial dedication ceremony

More than 5,800 Californians lost their lives in Vietnam - more lives than any other state in the country. The Vietnam Veterans of America, California State Council and the California Department of Veterans Affairs invites veterans and their families to attend the California Vietnam Veterans Memorial 20th Anniversary event December 10 through December 14 in Sacramento, to honor the service, efforts and sacrifices of our fallen Vietnam military personnel, and pay homage to those veterans still living.

This five-day event, open to the public, will feature the reading of the names of the fallen, a Vietnam war movie night, a parade, a USO-style show and other activities, as well as the California Vietnam Veterans Memorial Anniversary dedication ceremony on Saturday, December 13, beginning at 1 PM at the memorial in Capitol Park.
