CalVet, Deloitte to Host Veteran Small Business Planning Workshop

The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) and Deloitte, a leading audit, consulting and financial advisory services firm in Sacramento will host Impact Day--a Veteran Small Business Planning Workshop. The workshop is for local veterans interested in starting their own business.

The workshop will help veterans with an entrepreneurial interest envision small business ownership and provide them with the skills and resources necessary to make it happen. Attendees will enjoy interactive coaching by Deloitte team members and learn from veteran small business owners about the small business startup process—including creating a business plan, getting personal credentials, raising capital, filing forms, and applying for grant funding available to veterans.
